More than 160 current OSU students have self-identified as having aged out of the foster care system. The Daybreak Endowed Program Fund and The Student Affairs Foster Youth Programs Operating Fund support the programs and initiatives guiding students who have experience in the foster care system.
Students with experiences in the foster care system face various challenges outside the classroom that can seriously impact their academic performance. OSU seeks to provide mentorship, support, stability, and guidance to students through their academic experience - ensuring that they can focus on what matters most - staying at OSU and finishing their degree.
When you support The Daybreak Endowed Program Fund or The Student Affairs Foster Youth Programs Operating Fund, you help shape the future for former foster youth that currently attend or aspire to attend OSU in the future. By donating during Give Orange, you help make our future brighter!
