Women for OSU

Women lead the way in philanthropy.

Women for OSU is a group of visionary women who share a passion for inspiring leadership and financial support to OSU. We foster a culture of giving and inspire others to positively shape the university through donor-funded scholarship awards and Partnering to Impact grants for faculty and staff.

In 2020, Women for OSU launched the Partnering to Impact Program, a donor-funded grant program to support the university in a way that strengthens engagement with Women for OSU Partners. Since the program's start, OSU faculty and staff have submitted numerous proposals to fund unbudgeted projects that align with the program's main initiatives.

The Women for OSU Endowed Scholarship is a prestigious award recognizing academic, philanthropic, and volunteer activities among OSU's students. In 2023, the Council established the Student Philanthropist of the Year Award. Recipients are OSU students who are highly engaged in philanthropic efforts and demonstrate inspiring leadership through a culture of giving. Moreover, they live out their orange passion with an unwavering dedication to serving others in their communities.

We invite you to join Women for OSU in positively shaping the university's future through philanthropy and engagement by donating to Women for OSU.

There is also an opportunity for you to become a Women for OSU Partner by simply donating a minimum contribution of $1,000 annually to one of our four funds: Partnering to Impact Fund, Women for OSU program Fund, Women for OSU Scholarships, and our NEW Women for OSU Speaker Fund. For those 35 and younger, the minimum annual contribution is $500. By becoming a partner, you can vote on our Partnering to Impact Grant recipients, exclusive opportunity to purchase two induvial tickets to the upcoming WOSU Symposium (limited supply), along with many other benefits!
