Oklahoma State University thrives on the many strengths of our community. Our dedication to excellence isn't just a concept; it's a powerful catalyst for embracing inclusive thoughts and actions. Access and community impact, to us, is more than a quality-of-life enhancer – it's a vital economic force, fostering prosperity and well-being globally. Join us in shaping a future where inclusivity leads the way!
Since 2010, OSU has seen a 111% increase in the number of students of color earning a bachelor's degree. In addition, OSU has received 25 national awards and recognitions for university commitment to access and community impact.
OSU is committed to fostering and enhancing the competitive advantages that access and community impact offer to every member of the University community. From the state’s largest number of Oklahoma’s Promise students, to the growing number of first-generation college students, to the nation’s returning military veterans and traditional and non-traditional learners from urban centers to the most rural corners of their states – OSU is a community and environment that welcomes all.
A Capital Campaign Amplifying A Historical Legacy at OSU
In 1949, Nancy Davis enrolled at OSU and became the university's first Black student. In 2015, OSU President Burns Hargis and the Division of Institutional Diversity established and fully funded the Nancy Randolph Davis Memorial Endowed Scholarship to honor the enduring legacy of Ms. Davis at OSU. Thanks to the philanthropic commitment of her son, Calvin, and his wife, Renee, we unveil the "75 for 75" Capital Campaign - a philanthropic initiative designed to amplify the transformative impact of Ms. Davis' legacy at OSU. Your participation will propel us toward achieving our ambitious endowment goal of $75,000, commemorating the 75th anniversary of Ms. Davis' historic enrollment at OSU.
Your support during Give Orange lifts up the future of access and community impact here at Oklahoma State University. Thank you!
