The world is a Brighter Orange when the brightest minds have the opportunities to grow and learn at a first-class institution. At Oklahoma State, we believe financial circumstances should never be a barrier to higher education.
Through the Brighter Orange, Brighter Future Student Scholarship Campaign, we aim to secure $375 million in additional support for Oklahoma State University students through need-based and merit-based scholarships. Scholarships of every kind will break down barriers. You can open doors and give educational access to students of all educational, experiential, and financial backgrounds. Help make Oklahoma State shine its brighter orange - now, and long into the future!
Your gift to the Brighter Orange, Brighter Future campaign will:
To support the Brighter Orange, Brighter Future campaign, donate to the Brighter Future Fund today!
In addition to the Brighter Future Fund, you choose to support the President's Leadership Council Scholarship Endowment, the General Scholarship Fund, and several other scholarships.
The President's Leadership Council (PLC) is OSU's signature freshman scholarship and academic leadership program that emphasizes the importance of leadership and service throughout life. PLC students complete a yearlong class that includes leadership and ethics seminars, community service, several small-group initiatives, and hosting a leadership seminar for high-school seniors. The program prepares students to be active and ethical leaders no matter where their life's journey takes them. We have the goal of endowing the PLC program for $3 million to ensure participants receive a scholarship of $2,500. This will allow PLC to remain a competitive option for freshmen seeking a meaningful leadership experience.
With increased general scholarship funding. we can help students focus on what they will get out of OSU - and what they'll eventually give back. For every inventive risk-taker, every hard-working self-starter on our campus, there's a story of sacrifice. In small doses, sacrifice has value. But we need to keep financial burdens low if we mean to prepare graduates for unfettered futures and meet the scholarship-giving opportunities needed most as outlined by President Hargis.
No matter where you decide to make an impact, your gift ensures that OSU students feel the power - and the hope - of having the Cowboy family behind them.
