What is Cowboys United?
Cowboys United is OSU's newest fundraising campaign that seeks to address a singular, current need at Oklahoma State University each year. The event’s focus will change annually, and this year the focus is on First-Generation Students and the services they have access to at OSU.
Why first-generation students?
At Oklahoma State University, 20-25% of students identify as first-generation college students, meaning they are the first in their family to go to college. First-generation resources at OSU help these students and their families navigate the challenges and newness that can come from starting college. By expanding these resources, OSU can ensure that each and every first-generation student is set up for success when they step on campus.
What will the funds raised from Cowboys United for First-Gen Students support at OSU?
Every dollar raised through the Cowboys United for First-Gen Students campaign will have a direct impact on the lives of students on all OSU campuses. These funds will be used across the OSU system to expand existing first-generation initiatives such peer mentor programs, family engagement, scholarships for housing/meal plans, and more!

How will the OSU Foundation manage my information?
Information submitted to the Oklahoma State University Foundation shall be governed by its Privacy Statement.
Will you notify the honoree of my tribute gift?
At this time we will not notify every honoree of tribute gifts. However, you are always welcome to share a link to the donor wall where your tribute will be published with the honoree directly.
Is it safe to make my gift online?
Yes! We use a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This prevents your personal or financial information from falling into the wrong hands.
Will my gift be tax-deductible?
Yes. Each gift will receive a receipt for your contribution. If you selected a perk with an associated benefit, the fair-market value will be deducted from your gift when applicable. We generate a gift receipt and send it to you for tax purposes usually within the week we receive your gift.
